1. Akash Kumar Chowdhary (Meghalaya) — 11 Balls Vs Arunachal Pradesh, 2025/26
Recently, in the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 plate league, Meghalaya took on Arunachal Pradesh. In this match, Meghalaya won the toss & chose to bat first. In the first innings, they put a mammoth cricket score of 628/6 on the scoreboard. For Meghalaya, Arpit Bhatewara scored a double ton, with 207 runs. While skipper Kishan Lyngdoh and Rahul Dalal also amassed centuries. Even Ajay Duhan scored 53 runs. But history was created when Akash Kumar Chowdhary entered the ground after the 6th wicket fell. In the 2015 Ranji Trophy, Bandeep Singh smashed a 15-ball half-century playing for Jammu and Kashmir against Tripura. In this match, during the second innings, he scored 51 runs in just 16 balls, including 6 fours and 4 sixes. Jammu & Kashmir scored 428 runs & 163/3 in the first and second innings of the match. In response, Tripura could reach only 224 runs and conceded a huge lead against the opponents. But in the second innings, their batter played sensibly and successfully drew the match.
3. Yusuf Pathan (Baroda) — 18 Balls Vs Vidarbha
During the 2012–13 Ranji Trophy season, in a match between Baroda and Vidarbha, Yusuf Pathan blazed his way to a half-century off just 18 balls. In this match, Yusuf Pathan also captained the Baroda side. After winning the toss, Yusuf Pathan invited the Vidarbha team to bat first. His team restricted Vidarbha to 264 runs in the first innings. In response, Baroda played brilliantly and took a massive lead of 250 runs. After this, both teams shook hands, and the match ended in a draw.
