3. Kolkata Knight Riders vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, April 18, 2008 (Won by 140 runs)


The inaugural match of the IPL 2008 was played between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In this match, RCB won the toss & chose to bat first. KKR started the IPL with a bang by scoring 222/3 in their 20 overs. In IPL 2015, Royal Challengers Bengaluru clashed with Kings XI Punjab at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Kings XI Punjab won the toss & chose to field first. In this match,

RCB scored a strong total of 226/3 in their 20 overs. Chris Gayle scored 117 runs off 57 balls with Virat Kohli scoring 53 runs off 32 balls.
