India's Sachin Tendulkar is famously called as the "God of Cricket,". He is the most successful batter of the century and holds numerous unbreakable cricket records. One such record is for the most test centuries. Tendulkar has scored 51 hundreds in his illustrious test career and is also the highest run scorer in test cricket, amassing 15,921 runs over 200 matches and 329 innings. His Test journey began on November 15, 1989, against Pakistan. A 16-year-old Tendulkar faced Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis with remarkable composure. 2. Sachin Tendulkar - The Master Blaster in ODI cricket (49 Centuries)
Sachin Tendulkar's ODI career began on December 18, 1989, against Pakistan. Despite a modest start, Tendulkar soon established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the 50-over format. Over the years, he smashed 49 ODI centuries, amassing 18,426 runs over 463 matches and 453 innings. One of Tendulkar's most memorable ODI centuries was his 143 against Australia in the 1998 Coca-Cola Cup in Sharjah, often called the "Desert Storm" innings. On February 24, 2010, Tendulkar made history by becoming the first player to score a double century in ODIs. He achieved this feat by scoring an unbeaten 200 runs off 147 balls against South Africa at the Captain Roop Singh Stadium in Gwalior. On March 16, 2012, in the Asia Cup, Sachin Tendulkar scored his 49th and final ODI century against Bangladesh. This remarkable inning also marked his 100th and final century in international cricket. His score of 114 in this match was especially significant as it set the record for the most centuries in ODI cricket. Sachin Tendulkar played his only T20I for India on December 1, 2006, against South Africa. It was the Indian team's debut in the format.
